Membership
We invite you to join our La Porte County Historical Society.
Membership is open to anyone who is interested in
history, genealogy, antiques and La Porte County.
We have eight monthly meetings,
with a speaker or discussion covering interesting facts
about historical subjects.
By joining the organization you help in carrying out its purpose and
support the many volunteers who generously give their time and talents
to provide one of the most outstanding museums in the state.
Meetings are open to the public.
Facility is handicapped accessible.
Dues are due February of each year.
PUBLICATIONS
The Society publishes a quarterly newsletter, THE OLDLETTER
(March, June, September and December).
All members are entitled to receive this publication.

Meeting and Program Schedule
The La Porte County Historical Society, Inc. holds regular
meetings the third Tuesday of each month except, June, July, August and
December.
May
and September dinner meetings
are
held at the
Activity Center for Older Adults
Main Floor
910 State Street
La Porte, IN
This is the old Central Fire Station building east across
Madison Street from La Porte Hospital.
All other meetings
are held at the
La Porte County Historical Society Museum
2405 Indiana
Avenue, Suite 1.
Museum is located on east side of US#35 at the south entrance to La Porte.
Unless otherwise noted, meeting time is 7:00 p.m.
Facility is handicapped accessible and guests are welcome.

There are no regular meetings of the La Porte County Historical Society, Inc. during the months of June, July or August.
Bring a friend, neighbor or family member and enjoy learning a little of La Porte County's history. You need not be a member to attend. There is plenty of parking area and remember the facility is handicapped accessible.
