Krebs Service Station, Michigan City

This photograph shows Krebs Service Station in Michigan City.  Frank M. Krebs was the owner, and the business was located at 121 W. Fifth Street in the 1927 Michigan City directory.  The firm’s advertisement in the same book lists them as a distributor of not only Firestone tires and tubes, but also of “Gabriel Snubbers” for “Greater Riding Comfort.”  The telephone number listed was 699.
