Scott House

This photograph shows the entrance hall of the 15-room Emmet Scott House, located
at 211 Rose Street in La Porte. It was built in 1901 by Emmet Hoyt Scott, in the Colonial Revival style, designed by South Bend architect Wilson B. Parker. The house stands today, largely just as it was built, and is rated “Outstanding” in the Indiana Historic Sites and Structures Inventory.
