This photograph shows the Sunbeam Grocery & Market. In the 1931 La Porte City Directory, it is listed at 1212 Lincoln Way, with A. T. Johnson as the proprietor.

The building stands today, mostly unchanged, and still does retail business. However, it is now a liquor store.
